I believe that this journal has run its course and served its purpose. I think when it was created, it was a healthy choice to explore some things and give myself a place to put ideas and have an outlet as I was trying to come to terms with my diagnosis. At this point, though, I'm beginning to become less fragmented and my alters are appearing less and less. The nature of why they appear at this point is so brief and fleeting and at this time confined to therapy. Also, they are less and less developed as I'm more aware of them and they are starting to fade and become integrated with me. For that reason, I'm shutting this journal down. Thanks to all who friended me and joined me on my journey. I still am struggling with this, but it's not as much of a struggle. When an alter needs to express themselves, they now do it pen to paper. I am going to unfriend everyone here (nothing against you) and then make private every entry here - just to have a record if ever needed.

If you are still curious about DID and the things that go along with it, I suggest joining didsupport. I'm active there in my primary journal, but will no longer be active there in this journal.

Thanks for understanding. : )
